Welcome back to our channel and to the exciting journey of Ram Van Gaman Path Yatra
In Episode 1, you watched us begin from Noida and after 9 hours of travel, we reached the sacred land of Ayodhya. Honestly, words can’t express the excitement of entering the city of Lord Shri Ram!

Ayodhya – The Holy City of Lord Shri Ram

WELCOME TO AYODHYA…

Ayodhya – Birthplace of Lord Ram

Ayodhya, situated on the banks of the Sarayu River in Uttar Pradesh, is best known as the Janmabhoomi (birthplace) of Lord Shri Ram.

This ancient city is also known as:

  • Ram Nagari (City of Ram)
  • Saket
  • The Kingdom of Lord Ram

According to scriptures, Ayodhya was founded by King Manu, and the name itself means “the one which cannot be defeated in battle”. Ayodhya also has international connections – cities like Ayutthaya in Thailand and Yogyakarta in Indonesia derive their names from Ayodhya.

Dussehra Vibes & Ram Ki PaidI

When we reached Ayodhya, it was the time of Dussehra, the celebration of Lord Ram’s return after victory over Ravana. The whole city was echoing with the name of “Ram”.

Our first stop was Ram Ki Paidi, the beautiful riverfront of Sarayu. Also known as Ram Ghat Snan, this newly built complex is neat, clean, and spiritual.

Traditionally, devotees take a holy dip in the Sarayu River before visiting Ram Lalla. This is the same sacred ghat where Shri Ram and Mata Sita prayed before starting their 14-year exile. Following tradition, we too took blessings of Sarayu Mata before continuing our journey.

Meeting the High Tech Baba – Mithila Bihari Das

One of the highlights of our visit was meeting “High Tech Baba” (Mithila Bihari Das) in his ashram. His place is filled with modern gadgets, cameras, and equipment – hence the name.

Baba shared deep insights about Lord Shri Ram as Maryada Purushottam:

  • Ideal Son: Accepting exile to honor his father’s promise.
  • Ideal Husband: Protecting Sita Mata and fighting Ravana.
  • Ideal Brother & Friend: Strong bonds of love and loyalty.
  • Ideal King: The vision of Ram Rajya, where every citizen is treated equally.

He explained how Ayodhya’s people live with Shri Ram in their hearts, and anyone here can narrate Ramayana stories with love and devotion. Baba blessed our journey with his good wishes.

He further explains some such qualities of Lord Shri Ram and what we can learn from him: –
What should be the nature of relationship between a father and a son and What should be the responsibilities of an idol son. Lord Shri Ram was a devoted son who took up the 14 Year long exile just so that he could fulfill the promise made by his father to his Stepmother Kaikeyi
What should be the responsibilities of a husband towards his wife, Lord Ram saves Mata Sita from the demon king Ravan and protects her through a long fierce battle.

Lord Shri Ram shows us the strong bonds between brothers and creating and maintaining strong friendships.
He also tells us how a real “King” should be. The qualities of Shri Ram as King are unparalleled and hence the famous quote of “Ram Rajya”. Lord Shri Ram depicts how people should be treated equally despite their economic or societal status.

He further explains about the nature of the people of Ayodhya and how Lord Shri Ram is in each and every person’s mind and how any one in Ayodhya can tell you details about Lord Shri Ram and his qualities. Shri Ram is embedded in the day-to-day life of the people in this city
He was very encouraging about this journey that we took up and gave us his best wishes… !!
