Delhi to Kerala by Road – Part 1: Noida to Udaipur in a BMW 5 Series
Welcome to the first episode of our epic Delhi to Kerala Road Trip Series!
It’s me, Prejith, and my friend Shanshank, driving all the way from North India to South India in a BMW 5 Series. This journey is all about adventure, conversations, food, scenic highways, and the joy of the open road.
In Part 1, we begin our journey from Noida and drive straight to Udaipur, covering the distance in just about 8 hours. Smooth highways, night driving, and a memorable dinner stop made this leg of the trip truly unforgettable.
Our Route: Noida → Udaipur
Here’s the exact route we followed on this leg of the journey:
- Start from Noida
- Enter the KMP Expressway – wide, smooth, and perfect for cruising
- Continue onto the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway (till Dausa) – India’s newest, fastest expressway
- From Dausa, take the Jaipur Outer Route
- Bypass the city via the Ajmer Bypass
- Continue straight towards Udaipur
This entire stretch was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to enjoy the drive, talk about life, and laugh endlessly.
Good Conversations, Good Vibes, and the Open Road 🚗💨
Road trips with friends are always special—and this one was no different.
Between playlists, long conversations, random topics, and pure highway silence, this drive gave us everything a perfect road trip should.
Inside the BMW 5 Series, the ride felt effortless, giving us more time to enjoy the journey rather than just focus on the destination.
Dinner Break: Authentic Rajasthani Flavours 🍽️
As we approached Udaipur, hunger finally kicked in.
We stopped at a local eatery on the outskirts of the city for a delicious Rajasthani meal:
- Dal Baati Churma (the classic!)
- Papad Methi Sabzi
- Tandoori Roti
After hours on the highway, this comforting meal was exactly what we needed.
Night Stay at Zone Connect by Park
We finally reached our hotel — Zone Connect by Park, Udaipur, a modern and comfortable place to unwind.
After a long day of travel, this was the perfect stop to rest, recharge, and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
