Episode 5 – Ramleela of Ayodhya – अयोध्या की रामलीला | Kalki Avtar – कल्कि अवतार

We always hear about the grand Ram Leela shows in Ayodhya, but did you know that during Dussehra, Ram Leela shows are organized and performed in every locality of Ayodhya? That’s right! Each neighborhood lights up with its own unique take on this timeless epic.

Our hotel staff told us about a nearby show in Sahibganj, so we loaded up our gear and went to see the excitement in person. These small, local plays are quite different from the grander ones held in places like Naya Ghat and other prominent venues. Unlike the more formal grand performances, these smaller plays often include humorous and light-hearted moments, offering a fresh and entertaining perspective on the classic tale. Local residents come together to put on these shows, making them a true community effort.

We finally reached just before the show started and got the opportunity to meet the actors behind the scenes. In the video you can see them getting ready, applying makeup and donning there attires.

Prithvi was really excited to see them and wanted to get ready with them.

We have captured the exciting moments of the Ram Leela show in our video, please do enjoy them !!

We had the pleasure of meeting Shree Dinesh Kumar Mishra, a dedicated Headmaster by profession. He graciously presented us with a book titled “Ayodhya Mahatm,” which provided us with all the essential information about Ayodhya. This book has been an invaluable resource, offering us the correct guidance for this series.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dinesh Ji, who also introduced us to our very own High Tech Bada – M.B. Das Baba. You might remember him from our last few episodes. Baba has been pivotal in enhancing our knowledge about the Ramayana and Lord Shree Ram. His guidance has greatly enriched our journey, helping us delve deeper into the rich heritage and stories of Ayodhya.

In Ayodhya, we encountered a very interesting gentleman, Mr. Umesh Kumar Jaiswal. He made some intriguing claims, stating that Kalyug will end in 2030 and that a third World War is imminent before that. Mr. Jaiswal calls himself a Kalki Pracharak, a preacher of the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu, who is yet to come.

According to him, Kalyug is much smaller then what the popular belief of 432,000 yrs is. As per Sanatan Dhrama there are 10 Avatars or incarnations in each Chaturyug (4 Yugs). As per mainstream belief its only been 5000 yrs since Kalyug started and there is still 427,000 yrs left for it to end. However as per him this is an incorrect calculation. He explains that there is no such mention of Years in Lakhs in any of our Puranas or Vedas. According to him everywhere the number is in 1000s and not lakhs, it is called Dwadash Sahastra Varsani (12000 yrs). He says that according to our ancient books a day in the life of a God or Goddess is equivalent to 360 days of Human time on earth. So, what the mainstream historians did is that they multiplied 360 with 12000 and came up with 432,000 yrs.

He is saying that this interpretation is incorrect, and it should be 24000 yrs for each Yug and if that is correct then according to him Kalyug will end in 2030. As per him “Kalki” Avatar is already here on earth but his time to present himself to the world has not come yet. He says there are certain conditions which should be fulfilled first before he can present himself.

According to him those conditions are:-

  1. Emergency declaration in India
  2. Out of Control situations
  3. Kalki will emerge as a dictator and the governance will be in his hands

He says that we can read all about these predictions in a book of Bhavishya Malika Puran (Future Predictions) by author Shri Achyutananda Dasa. These were written in Odia around 600 years ago.

Mr. Umesh Kumar Jaiswal’s predictions and interpretations are quite intriguing and paint a vivid picture of future events according to his beliefs:

  • Life After 2030: He predicts a significant shift where modern amenities like electricity, mobile phones, and the internet will no longer be accessible.
  • World War and Peace Treaty: Mr. Jaiswal suggests that a world war, akin to the situation in Israel, will occur. This conflict will culminate in a peace treaty signed between Muslim countries, which will last exactly 7 years, leading up to 2030. The signatory of this treaty is predicted to be “Kali,” associated with the demon responsible for Kaliyug.
  • Attack on India: He foresees a scenario where 13 Muslim countries, supported by China, will launch attacks on India, causing widespread chaos and distress.
  • Arrival of Kalki Avatar: According to Mr. Jaiswal, amidst this turmoil, people will pray fervently for divine intervention. It is then that Kalki, the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu, will manifest himself. Unlike previous avatars who appeared as infants, Kalki will reportedly make a “lateral entry,” meaning he will appear in a manner that doesn’t involve a traditional birth.

We at Travelocracy do not endorse any of his views and thoughts. These are claims which he made himself. We are merely a medium showing the vibrant colors of Ayodhya.

This is our last day in Ayodhya, we are saddened by the thoughts of leaving this marvelous place. The 6 days we spent in this city were memorable and we will always cherish them in our hearts. The amount of Love and support we received from the people of Ayodhya is immeasurable. During our time here we stayed in Hotel “KRINOSCCO”.

We have to leave Ayodhya today to recoup our journey further to the south. We will miss this holy city and the magnificent people of Ayodhya.

In our next episode, we will visit the esteemed Archaeologist Dr KK Muhammad to know more about the ancient site of Ayodhya Ram Janma Bhoomi and Ramayan.

Stay Tuned.. !!!
